Our Story

How it all started...

In early 2017, a group of young adults expressed a strong desire to create a worship ministry where young adults could feel free to express themselves in their worship of God in the way he created us to worship him. We felt it necessary to have a place where people could learn what it means to worship God. The hope is that as people encounter God, they would be free to express their love for him in the biblical ways we are exhorted to worship him.

In November of 2017, the first 4:12 Collective worship event was held at Grace Church in Berlin, Ohio. Not knowing what to expect, the event was held in a High School room. Over 100 people showed up to the first event, filling up the space to the point where we ran out of seats. More importanty, God moved in incredible ways as people responded to the message and received prayer during the service. Seeing the need in the community for more events like this, 4:12 Collective has since then held a monthly event at a different church each month. This has led to a desire to connect and unify local churches and church leaders through collectively pursuing Jesus in worship.

Expanding the vision...

In 2019, Austin Mast (Lead Director, School of Worship) and
Brennan Mullet (Lead Director, 4:12 Collective Worship) saw a need to raise up worship leaders in the local church. Using the platform that 4:12 Collective already had, the 4:12 Collective School of Worship was born.
